Our Challenge

Every day, we are unknowingly exposed to toxic chemicals. Through our air, water, food, personal care products, and cleaning supplies, toxic chemicals and pesticides are severely impacting human and environmental health.

How We are Addressing Toxics

Through a highly targeted initiative, the Coalition for Action on Toxics is challenging the threat that toxic contaminants pose to the health of people and the environment.

Acknowledging systemic inequities, our members share a belief that all people deserve an equal chance to live a healthy life in a healthy environment. The Coalition has over a decade of experience working together. We pool resources and expertise to develop and execute coordinated strategies that inform Canada’s legislative and regulatory policies.

The Coalition engages with decision-makers providing credible, concrete, actionable

We prioritize solutions that are rooted in environmental justice principles and grounded in environmental justice and community-informed knowledge and leadership. By presenting a coordinated strategy, we can reduce toxic exposure to protect our environment, wildlife, and human health for generations.
